Ocean Grey carries a stippled dot motif across a blue-grey field, with the tone shifting gently from soft teal to charcoal and ivory so the surface seems to move slightly as you look at it. It is a modern, minimal design with just enough texture to stay interesting, well suited to a bedroom, a home office or a contemporary living room.
Founded by James Tufenkian in New York, the brand hand-cards, hand-spins and hand-knots its rugs in Nepal from Tibetan highland wool that keeps its natural lanolin, which helps the pile resist soil and stains.
From the maker: Tufenkian's Spangle is a composition of silken pebbles over a wool field, hand-knotted from Himalayan wool and bamboo silk.

Vacuum without a beater bar, rotate once or twice a year, and use a rug pad on hard floors. Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth; for anything more, use a professional rug cleaner.

We ship within Canada from our Winnipeg warehouse. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and shipping is calculated at checkout by destination and rug size. All sales are final: because every rug is one of a kind, we cannot offer returns or exchanges, so please ask us for extra photos or a video before you order. If a rug arrives damaged, email photos of the rug and packaging to contact@bmdmaterials.com within 48 hours of delivery and we will start a carrier claim with you.
