Uneven, organic bands of golden beige and brown flow across the Sierra Gold colourway, a fluid design built on natural tones. A warm, easy rug for a hallway, bedside or reading nook.
Founded by James Tufenkian in New York, the brand hand-cards, hand-spins and hand-knots its rugs in Nepal from Tibetan highland wool that keeps its natural lanolin, which helps the pile resist soil and stains.
From the maker: Tufenkian's Sierra is an organic, fluid design in uneven palettes; Gold covers the floor in golden beige and brown tones of hand-knotted wool, bamboo silk and linen.

Hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs show slight variations in colour, pattern and dimension; they are part of the piece. Vacuum without a beater bar, rotate once or twice a year, and use a rug pad on hard floors. Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth; for anything more, use a professional rug cleaner.

We ship within Canada from our Winnipeg warehouse. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and shipping is calculated at checkout by destination and rug size. All sales are final: because every rug is one of a kind, we cannot offer returns or exchanges, so please ask us for extra photos or a video before you order. If a rug arrives damaged, email photos of the rug and packaging to contact@bmdmaterials.com within 48 hours of delivery and we will start a carrier claim with you.
