An oversized damask-style pattern of florals and scrollwork in beige and ivory, kept tonal so the design shows as a soft, shifting contrast that changes as light moves across the pile. It is a classical motif handled in a modern, understated way, and a good fit for a living room, dining room or main bedroom.
Tufenkian rugs are hand-carded, hand-spun and hand-knotted in Nepal from Tibetan highland wool, which keeps its natural lanolin and so helps the pile resist soil and stains. The company was founded by James Tufenkian in New York.

Hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs show slight variations in colour, pattern and dimension; they are part of the piece. Vacuum without a beater bar, rotate once or twice a year, and use a rug pad on hard floors. Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth; for anything more, use a professional rug cleaner.

We ship within Canada from our Winnipeg warehouse. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and shipping is calculated at checkout by destination and rug size. All sales are final: because every rug is one of a kind, we cannot offer returns or exchanges, so please ask us for extra photos or a video before you order. If a rug arrives damaged, email photos of the rug and packaging to contact@bmdmaterials.com within 48 hours of delivery and we will start a carrier claim with you.
