A symmetrical botanical pattern in cream on a rust field, framed by a tonal border, taking a traditional floral layout and softening it with a warm, current colour pairing. The dense, plush pile is comfortable underfoot, which makes this a good bedside or reading-nook rug, and it also works in a formal living room as an accent.
Tufenkian rugs are hand-carded, hand-spun and hand-knotted in Nepal from Tibetan highland wool, which keeps its natural lanolin and so helps the pile resist soil and stains. The company was founded by James Tufenkian in New York.

Hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs show slight variations in colour, pattern and dimension; they are part of the piece. Vacuum without a beater bar, rotate once or twice a year, and use a rug pad on hard floors. Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth; for anything more, use a professional rug cleaner.

We ship within Canada from our Winnipeg warehouse. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and shipping is calculated at checkout by destination and rug size. All sales are final: because every rug is one of a kind, we cannot offer returns or exchanges, so please ask us for extra photos or a video before you order. If a rug arrives damaged, email photos of the rug and packaging to contact@bmdmaterials.com within 48 hours of delivery and we will start a carrier claim with you.
