Here & There Glacier is a landscape-inspired design: a soft cream ground crossed by loose organic lines in warm brown, like wind marks in sand or drifting cloud. The pattern is minimal and the palette is quiet, so the rug adds texture without asserting itself. It suits a modern bedroom, a bathroom-adjacent dressing area or a calm, spa-like living space.
Founded by James Tufenkian in New York, the brand hand-cards, hand-spins and hand-knots its rugs in Nepal from Tibetan highland wool that keeps its natural lanolin, which helps the pile resist soil and stains.
From the maker: Tufenkian describes Here & There as silk tendrils dancing across a striated wool field, carved in high and low pile; the Glacier colourway in natural white and grey has the look of cracked stone.

Vacuum without a beater bar, rotate once or twice a year, and use a rug pad on hard floors. Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth; for anything more, use a professional rug cleaner.

We ship within Canada from our Winnipeg warehouse. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and shipping is calculated at checkout by destination and rug size. All sales are final: because every rug is one of a kind, we cannot offer returns or exchanges, so please ask us for extra photos or a video before you order. If a rug arrives damaged, email photos of the rug and packaging to contact@bmdmaterials.com within 48 hours of delivery and we will start a carrier claim with you.
